Sr. Mary Raphael in Virginia

 +JMJ Sister Mary Raphael recently had the wonderful opportunity to attend a weekend-conference on the message of Our Lady of Fatima. The conference took place in Virginia and was presented by Sister Angela Coelho, a member of the Alliance of Holy Mary and Postulator for the Cause of Canonization for Saints Jacinta and Francisco Marto. Sister Mary Raphael's trip included a stop at the beautiful Mount Saint Mary's in Emmitsburg, MD and a visit to the tomb of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, an inspiring spiritual mother. Holy Week and the Easter Triduum

Holy Week and the Triduum this year were extra special - the first one celebrated in Our Lady of Loreto Convent. We were blessed to continue our yearly tradition of attending the Palm Sunday Liturgy at Saint Patrick's Cathedral with Bishop Jugis, following the example of Saint Clare who received a palm branch from the hand of her bishop on the before she decided to drop everything for Christ by following Francis. We enjoyed a beautiful Holy Thursday meal modeled after the Jewish Seder to celebrate the institution of the Holy Priesthood.  Good Friday was a day of recollected silence and [...]
